The Tourism Quality Council of Australia (TQCA)has announced that EC3 Global's EarthCheck Certified Program has been successful in its application for T-QUAL Accreditation, and is now officially part of the T-QUAL family.

The EarthCheck Certified Program is designed to help the travel and tourism industry increase operational efficiencies, maximise guest experience and minimise their environmental footprints.

"The EarthCheck model should be applauded for its contribution to delivering quality in the travel and tourism industry," announced Simon Currant, Chair, Tourism Quality Council of Australia. "It provides a very supportive framework for its members which helps them to reduce carbon emissions and improve bottom line performance."

Members of TQUAL are committed to continuous improvement, which ultimately benefits consumers while at the same time increases the credibility of the industry.

"It is improvements to the quality of products and services that T-QUAL Accreditation aims for, and by granting the EarthCheck Certified Program accreditation, we are well on the way to achieving this goal," Currant concluded.
